Performing at C.O.B. will provide your band the opporutnity to showcase your talent in front of 500+ event organizers in the hopes of being booked by additional events/venues in Iowa, Illinois, and Missouri.

An application and non-refundable fee of $100 is required to apply to perform at C.O.B. Applications accepted through November 30, 2022. Upon selection the performance fee will be $400.

Bands will perform on stage for approximately 25 minutes with full concert production (video and sound/lighting). Each performance will also include the showing of an artist provided 2 minute sizzle reel to introduce your group. Performance time slots will be selected at random.

20 bands/artists will be selected by a panel of judges to perform during the event. Selected bands will be notified in December.

When not performing at C.O.B. bands will be expected to man an 8×10 booth space in the Auditorium banquet rooms to interact with event attendees. This will be a great time to sell merch as well as talk about pricing and date availability with attendees.

Post event, the selected bands will receive contact information of attendees as well as the video recording of the showcase set. Bands will have full rights to this video to use in future promotions. (Video footage will include raw screen file footage.)
